About This Policy

This policy describes the personal data that is collected from you. Personal data is information that can be used on its own or with the other information to identify, contact, or locate a single person, or to identify an individual in context. All data related to an identified or identifiable person are personal data.

Restrictions

Our services are not intended for children under 16 years of age, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 16.

We do not collect sensitive personal data unless you provide explicit consent.

What Personal Data Do We Collect?

When you register for our events, we request personal data to offer and improve our services. The personal data we collect includes:

  • Name
  • Email address
  • iRacing ID
  • Discord username
  • A photo of you

In addition to the above, we may also collect data related to your racing record, including but not limited to:

  • Virtual racing results
  • Real-life racing results
  • Historical performance data
  • Racing statistics (e.g., lap times, positions, incidents)
  • Participation in racing events (virtual and real-life)
  • Other relevant data for your driver profile

For team managers who register teams, we require additional information for invoicing and business purposes:

  • Billing address

Process and Use of Personal Data

We process your personal data based on your consent, the necessity to perform our contract with you, our legitimate interests in operating and improving our services, or as required by law.

We use the personal data we collect to:

  • Organize, manage and promote racing events, leagues, and related activities.
  • Communicate with you about the events you participate in and provide important updates.
  • Improve our services and tailor them to your needs.
  • Promote our league and services to you, including advertising related products or services that may interest you.
  • Share relevant data with sponsors and partners to offer you additional benefits and opportunities.

Your information is stored securely and is accessible only by authorized personnel who are required to keep it confidential.

Data Protection

Your personal information is only accessible by a limited number of persons who have special access rights to such systems, and are required to keep the information confidential.

If we transfer your personal data outside the EU/EEA, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place to protect your data in accordance with GDPR requirements.

Third-party disclosure

We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer your personal data to outside parties, with the following exceptions:

In the event of a data breach, we will notify you via email within ten (10) business days.

Data Retention and Deletion

Your personal data will be deleted after ten (10) years of inactivity, unless you request deletion or anonymization of your personal data before this period.
